- MVP Accomplishments: This senior diving All-American won the Kentucky state championship
last year and was named 1st team all-state. Having been diving varsity for 6 years, she
finished 3rd at state as a sophomore and 6th as a freshman. Her summer club is the Tri-State
Diving Club. Prior to her junior year, McKenzie finished 5th in the nation at the World Team
Diving Trials at Coral Springs, Florida. McKenzie is also a great volleyball player. A setter,
she holds many school records, including single season assists (672) this year. She has been
named 1st team all-conference two times and twice was named to the district all-tournament
team. Also an academic all-star with a 4.0 grade point and membership in National Honor
Society, McKenzie is active in community service. Her favorite athlete is Laura Wilkinson.
McKenzie has not yet selected a college, but plans to dive at the next level.
