- MVP Accomplishments: This swimming All-American anchored last year’s Ohio state
championship 200 freestyle relay team, helping the Lions’ to the Division I state team
runner-up title. She also finished 3rd in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 400 freestyle
relay events. A 4-year starter, Abby her freshman year was part of Ursuline’s Ohio state
championship team that finished the year ranked #2 in the nation. Her 200 freestyle relay team
that year set a state record (1:35.28). Abby has been named 1st team all-city three times, and
last year was named GGCL Swimmer of the Year, and Greater Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Swimmer
of the Year by the local chapter of the Women’s Sports Association. Her club swim team
is the Cincinnati Marlins. Abby’s favorite athlete is Kenyon Martin and
most-like-to-meet is Lance Armstrong. She will swim next year for Indiana University.
