• MVP Accomplishments: Mt. Notre Dame senior Laurin Bruce has been a steady golf player for the Cougars for four years, and has two Ohio state championship team titles in her varsity career. As a sophomore and junior, she was part of the Cougars team that took back-to-back state championships, including a 31-2 team record last season. She has earned many honors, including 1st team all-conference twice.  Her 40.7 average during the regular season last year led the team. She tied for 11th at state, and was named 1st team all-city and 2nd team all-Ohio. She has been match medalist 13 times in her career, including 7 times in 9 dual matches this season and was runner-up at the GGCL tournament. Laurin is actively involved in community projects, including an after-school program for inner city youth. Her favorite entertainer is Kate Boswick and her favorite athlete is Charles Howell III.
