• MVP Accomplishments: Senior fullback Mister Simpson of top-ten nationally ranked Colerain helped lead the Cardinals to an undefeated 10-0 regular season record as a junior last year. Simpson rambled for 1,658 yards and 23 TDs last season, while being named 1st team all-city, 1st team all-Southwest Ohio and 2nd team all-state. In this year’s 48-10 win over Anderson, he ran for 131 yards and 2 TDs, and added 178 yards and three TDs in a 45-12 victory over Princeton. He also runs track for the Cardinals, in the 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 relays. Simpson has given an oral commitment to play for the University of Michigan next season. His favorite entertainer is Eddie Murphy, favorite athletes are Walter Payton and Barry Sanders, and his most-like-to-meet is President Bush.
