- MVP Accomplishments: It was quite a summer for Bishop Brossart senior golfer Clinton Kohls,
who made history by sweeping all three major Northern Kentucky amateur tournaments -- the
Northern Kentucky Junior Amateur, the Kirk Maddox Memorial and the 7-Up Junior Tour. Last year
as a junior, Clinton won the Region 9 championship for the second consecutive year, and was
named Northern Kentucky Male Golfer of the Year. He averaged 37 for 9 holes. He has started
strong this season, too, having won the Catholic Cup Boys Golf Tournament. He holds many
school records, including lowest 9-hole round (32) and lowest 18-hole round (67). Active in
community service, his golf comes naturally--mom Barbara is the school’s golf
coach! His favorite athlete and most-like-to-meet is Tiger Woods. Favorite entertainer:
Chris Rock.
