NCH senior Jazmin Smith got off to another strong start in track this year, winning at the Coaches Classic the 200 dash, 100 hurdles and the 4x200 relay. She also won the MVC titles in the 100, 200, 100 hurdles and 4X400 relay.

Jazmin's junior year she won the district, regional and Ohio State Div. II championship in the 100 hurdles (14:68), thus becoming the first individual state champion in school history. She also won an Ohio state championship her freshman year as part of the state-winning 4x200 relay team.

Jazmin holds several records and has won numerous honors for her track accomplishments, including last year being named Cincinnati Div. II Track Runner of the Year, 1st team all-city and 1st team all-conference.

She also played two years of basketball for NCH and will run track collegiately at Ball State University.

Her favorite athlete and most-like-to-meet is Allyson Felix, favorite entertainer is Trey Songz, favorite book is The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, and favorite movie is The Lion King.
